Restoration of Degraded Areas
Brazil is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world and its forests are home to a huge variety of species. Forest restoration helps conserve this biodiversity, ensuring ecosystem resilience and the maintenance of vital ecosystem services, such as pollination and water regulation.
How we can help you
We develop customized Ecological Restoration projects that meet the environmental regulatory needs and public commitments of companies and entities.
We meet all types of demands, including large-scale area restoration, where we can perform mechanized implementation with periodic maintenance campaigns, weed and ant control, and top dressing fertilization.
Strategic Ecological Restoration practices for companies that not only seek to comply with their legal and regulatory obligations but also wish to mitigate risks and ensure long-term project viability.
By staying in compliance with legal requirements, you avoid fines, legal complications, and penalties, while reinforcing an image of environmental responsibility and commitment to the planet.
Ecological Restoration to promote biodiversity and reaffirm public commitments to sustainability and climate change mitigation
An opportunity to position yourself as a sustainability leader, contributing to national and global climate goals, in addition to fostering sustainable development.
Through insetting solutions, we help companies include tree planting in their corporate strategies as a way to sequester carbon and use this as a discount factor in their emissions inventories.
Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance in a single program
Our expertise empowers us to carry out Ecological Restoration projects that go beyond conventional planting. In addition to monitoring the areas we restore, we track planting evolution and promote compliance with environmental legislation.
Through integrated and sustainable solutions, we value the quality of restored areas and ensure the ecological interactions necessary for them to become resilient forests in the long term.
Programa Nascentes
Reservas Votorantim is part of the “Programa Nascentes,” an initiative by the Government of the State of São Paulo that helps connect investors with different players in the restoration market, aiming to expand the state’s native vegetation coverage.
Recently, we submitted our first project to the program, which plans the restoration of a 43-hectare area in the Carlos Botelho State Park, located in Vale do Ribeira.
We enable reforestation projects in important forest remnants, contributing to the social development of vulnerable regions. The projects rely on local labor and community involvement, generating jobs and income across all links of the restoration chain.

Planting Tomorrow
Planting Tomorrow is an environmental awareness and engagement activity carried out through the planting of native species in public parks, schools, or even inside companies.
For the development of these activities, Reservas Votorantim relies on 2 Biodiversity Centers: one located in Legado das Águas, with a production capacity of 300,000 plants per year of up to 140 species.
The second, located in Legado Verdes do Cerrado, has a production capacity of 200,000 plants per year with over 80 different species.
Real examples of companies that successfully implemented the ecological restoration program and the positive impact it had on their businesses and the environment.
